looking for a pediatric hospitalist to join their pool for ongoing sporadic coverage.
Dates Needed:
- Orientation date TBD
- 3/23,24,27,28,29
- Breakdown for Monday-Thursday:

- 7:00 am – 7:00 pm / Rounds for pediatric patients and newborns; and on call for new pediatric admissions
- 7:00 pm – 7:00 am / On call for any pediatric patient issues currently on the peds hospitalist service
- 7:00 am – 7:00 am / On call for any newborn issue

- 7:00 am – 5:00 pm / Rounds for pediatric patients and newborns; and on call for new pediatric admissions
- 7:00 pm – 5:00 am / On call for any pediatric patient issues currently on the peds hospitalist service
- 7:00 am – 5:00 pm / On call for any newborn issue

- These are the only dates they need for coverage. Physician could remain credentialed and cover future dates as needed if available.
- EMR: Epic
- Average number of patients per day: 0-3 admissions and peds, 2-12 newborns
- Will need to respond to in-house codes while in-house, but not required to be in-house 24-hours
- Areas of rounding on peds and level 1 nursery
- Do have HFNC on the floor
- Level 1 nursery
- Required procedures: lumbar puncture

- Board Certified/ Board Eligible within 5 years of residency - Required
- Epic knowledge is required
- Active IN license - Required
- BLS, PALS - Required
- DEA/CSR - Required
- NRP - Highly Preferred
- Clean background - Required
- Local providers within driving distance - Highly Preferred
- Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccine - Required - Verbal Confirmation needed at time of name clear
