Urgent Need for 3 Hospitalists - 2 Day Shifts & 1 Night Shift
Laredo Medical Center - Laredo TX
No ACLS or BLS required; Either BE or BC; can be Family Medicine, prefer Internal Medicine
Vent Management is a definite requirement
Hospitalist should respond to codes as all medical staff does and if their patient they take over (Do have the support of ED physicians & surgeons)
Call required 7p-7a
Open ICU
7a-7p shift time
EMR-Cerner
all specialty support available; only one neuro at this time.
There are local intensivists but the Hospitalist should be able to manage the vent at low levels
Admits range from 3-10 per facility data
